Bear Trapp
Bear Trapp is a Graduate of the Jack Welch School of Business at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield CT. He is the founder of VP Energy Services and has worked in and operated the company since its inception. He was born and raised in Saskatchewan. He was recently a finalist for Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2018.
Jordan Leugner
Jordan Leugner has 10 years experience in the oil and gas industry of Western Canada as a consulting geologist. He has consulted on over 250 wells across Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Alberta. In addition to consulting he sat as the VP of Exploration for a junior oil and gas company. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from the University of Regina.
Scott Slessor
Scott is currently the Operations Manager for VP Energy. He has over 25 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry working at Shell Albian Sands as Warehouse Manager, Team Lead at Suncor, Firebag and Fort Hill sites as a member of the Procurement & Materials Management Team. He holds 92 endorsements and also was Presidents Operational Excellence Award Finalist. He has a home in Battleford, SK and is originally from Ladysmith, Vancouver Island, BC.
Stefan Baker
Stefan is a graduate of the Paul J. Hill School of Business (University of Regina) with a Major in Finance and a Minor in Geography. He has 10 years of experience in the industry, having worked on a variety of projects for most notable Canadian producers, throughout the prairie provinces. Stefan’s career has focused primarily in land and consulting services. Having worked for several land brokers in his early years, he later transitioned to starting his own consulting company.

Jim Fox
Jim Fox is currently the CEO at Excir Works Inc. He holds an Executive MBA and a Post Graduate Masters Diploma in Global Business from the University of Oxford. He is also a graduate of Harvard’s General Management Program. Prior to that Jim spent 10 years at National Oilwell Varco, with his final role being the Vice President of Operations for Canada.
George Sereggela
George Sereggela is a former practicing lawyer and businessman who serves on a number of private and non-profit entity boards. Most recently, he was a partner in several property and casualty insurance brokerages that sold to HUB International. He is originally from Estevan, Saskatchewan and a graduate of University of Saskatchewan.
Wayne Paproski
Wayne Paproski CPA, CA is a tax partner with MNP LLP, a national accounting firm. In addition to advising owner managed clients in the oilfield production and service industry he also sits on the board of several companies in the energy industry.
Dennis Day
Dennis Day is the CEO of Fast Trucking Service Ltd. out of Carnduff SK. Dennis is a successful entrepreneur owning and operating several other oilfield transport and service companies throughout Saskatchewan and Manitoba employing close to 300 people. Dennis was born and raised in Saskatchewan and is an active member of the community both in Carnduff and the surrounding area.
Doug Trapp
Doug Trapp is currently the President of Ethos AI Investment Fund as well as Director of M&A with Hub International. He has been active in many businesses in Saskatchewan throughout his career as an owner operator and investor. He most recently was CEO of mainline Insurance Brokers and led a successful exit to Hub International. Doug was born and raised in Saskatchewan and continues to invest and contribute here alongside family.
